No, that’s OUR food

I know, I know; rather behind at the moment. It’s the same problem as last year; at this time of year, we’re generating photos and video faster than I can sort through them!
On May 1st, we saw some rather unusual behaviour. Mr and Mrs Fox are both still present in the lives of their cubs, as previously mentioned. Mr Fox came out to partake of the evening’s food, and while Mrs Fox seemed quite keen that some of it should be hers and not his, one of the cubs was absolutely adamant that this was HIS food. (Or, maybe, his mother’s.) In any case, the fearsome cub — ears raked back and teeth bared — managed to quite effectively chase his father away from the feeding area… see below.
